The Mayor of Hoima, Adyeeri Brian Kaboyo, was first elected in January 2021 and will serve until January 2026. He is the first elected mayor of the City of Hoima. Before becoming a politician, Brian was a businessman in real estate and distribution, which he still continues. He is an Economics graduate from Makarere University having graduated in 2007.

The First elected Mayor of Hoima city since it acquired city status in July 2020.
